The Guest Speaker at our first evening meeting on January 15th is Dr. Arebu Abdu. Dr Abdu earned his doctorate degree at Addis Ababa University Medical Faculty. He completed his pediatrics specialty training at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York and he also completed fellowship training, subspecialty in neonatology, at University of Kentucky. He joined The Permanente Medical Group (TPMG) in 2009 and is currently working at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). His topic today is a story of his developing a foundation supporting education in Africa.
