Club Assembly

As mentioned last week, this week's meeting on August 12th will be a Club Assembly, featuring a speaker who is the President Elect of the Fair Oaks Rotary Club, Elitas Mazhyanga "Mazzy" Chirwa.  She is a mental health therapist and counselor, and has a Sacramento County community cable network program on diversity and inclusion called "Mazzy TV Show."  

Attached for your review and consideration as well are the minutes from our Club's DEI committee's recent meeting.  For your information and in case you have questions for Thursday's Club Assembly.

Following Mazzy's presentation, I am planning time to break out into committees for some committee work.  I know I've asked all chairs to work on their area's priorities and budgets.

In light of the foregoing, I will be keeping the other business minimal so that we have ample time to discuss our work as a Rotary family.  I look forward to a good discussion, but also a lot of solid listening.
