2014 09_29 Creekside Oaks Garden Cleanup

Creekside Oaks Garden Cleanup Service Project

With the help of LHS Key/Interact members, and Victoria McCoy and her daughter Julissa, we worked for about two hours weeding and cleaning up the garden at Creekside Oaks Elementary Garden.  

We pulled weeds.  We hoed.  We spaded. We raked. We trimmed.  We piled the weeds and then stuffed them into bags for the school groundskeepers to remove.  We talked.  We laughed. We sweated!  We drank water.  We had some snacks.  Most of all we worked hard and had fun.  Performing service for others is good for the heart.
