We have a very fun party for Big Day of Giving. We gathered at the home of Melanie and Kieth Bergavin for finger food and our favorite beverages. A great social event of friendship with fellow Rotarians on a beautiful evening. To raise money, we had a blind wine auction, with David Bonillo as our auctioneer - and that is always so much fun. In addition, Clark Osterhout and Kristine Mollenkopf each donated a fully catered dinner at their homes for auction. The good news, generous Rotarians bid up the wine (including a bottle of $2 Chuck) and dinners to raise over $5,000, essentially doubling the club's donations for the year - now fare exceeding our goal. What an evening.
