Joann Hilton was selected to join only 30 previous Rotarians, to be included in the District5180 Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame was initiated in 2015 with the selection of 3 members. The Criteria for consideration includes: must have served 20 years or more in Rotary and 10 of these in District 5180. Joann has a long history of service in this club: President 2011-2012, Secretary, Treasurer, International (WSC), and a Board Member for 15 years. She served on the Dart Strategic Planning Committee, and three+ years with the Project Cornerstone, and many other youth Programs. She was the District Interact Chair, and District Grant Chair for 4 years, District Vocational Chair for 1 year and the District Youth Services Chair for 4 years. She was a member of the District Peace Committee for 18 years. She has been a RYLA counselor 4 times at the teenage youth camp. Perhaps this partial mention of her dedication and commitment to Rotary helps us all to understand and appreciate why Joann was selected this year for the District5180 Hall of Fame. Congratulations, Joann.
