John Quigley is this week's "Getting to Know You Better" Rotarian.John Quigley retired in 2001 after a 38-year career in financial management, including serving as the Chief Financial Officer for the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. John graduated from Menlo College in 1958 with an AA degree. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1961, with a major in finance. After Cal, John served one year of active duty with Army Security Agency in Boston. Upon completing his military assignment, he received his MBA degree from San Jose State University in 1963.
John was a member of the Rotary Club of Terra Linda, CA for eight years. He has been a member of the Rotary Club of Lincoln for five years. He is currently the Treasurer of the Lincoln Rotary Club, Lincoln Rotary Club Foundation and the Lincoln Rotary Club Properties.
John has been married to Dr. Kathleen Quigley for 59 years. She is a retired professor of education at Dominican University, San Rafael. They live in Sun City Lincoln Hills, across the street from Linda and Darrell Scott and Tony and Patricia Zugich. They have two daughters, one in Roseville and one in Auburn. Their granddaughter lives in Roseville. Their grandson lives in Scappoose, Oregon, with his wife, Hanna, and son, Carter (our great-grandson), two years old.
