New Inductees into Lincoln Rotary!

Two new members were inducted this week:
  • Linda Scott (wife of incoming President Darrell) – Classification Education
  • Jan Hutchinson – Classification Education and a PhD!
This brings our current member count to 54.

Checking out The Foundry

Barbara DeBabtiste (our PA transplant who is very interested in The Foundary and Rotaract) stopped by for a visit to The Foundry with Anglin!
Few more notes from the meeting:
  • Club Business: Club Members approved the formal adoption of the Standard Rotary Club Constitution and the updated Club Bylaws
  • Our speakers were Caron who summarized the accomplishments of her year as president, and Darrell who gave us a snapshot where the club is going during his upcoming year as president. 

 

Paul Harris Awards

We had quite the group achieve their Paul Harris Awards this week! See description below for more info.

  • Caron – PH+1    
  • Susan – PH+2
  • Stan – PH+3  - This was special since the club awarded him 1000 recognition points for his many years of service on the school board and city government
  • Bill Cook – PH+4
  • Claire – PH+4
  • Frank Neves – PH +5

Combined Rotary event coming July 21st at the Potters!

It's Caron's Kickout!

Thursday was the last day to sign up for Caron's kickout--it should be a great event!
