Upcoming Speaker
This coming week, as guest speaker, we have Pam Abad from the Lincoln Community Garden coming to speak about this special downtown area!

Lyricist and Poet- Alan Lowe
Alan presented a Mother's Day poem this week that humorously listed geometry titles that went beyond figures that most people might never have heard of.
 Meeting Welcome

President Greg opened the meeting with the thought for the day. The Flag salute was led by President-Elect Kerry and the 4-Way Test was led by Paul. Greg welcomed to the meeting 37 members of the club, and 9 guests:  Guest Speaker Steve Pagano, Susan Cadwallader (guest of Scott Cadwallader), Carlos Carrillo (Edgardo), Ana Lauritsen (Claire), 12 Bridges HS Counselor Tom Kelley, Students of the Month: Izzy Pachelo & her Mother Danielle, Gavin Pratt and his parents Logan & Katie Pratt.

Events and Committee Announcements
Greg reminded the club of the awards evening June 9th from 6-8 PM at Safety Town. W. Bill reported that the recent Blood Drive had a very low participation rate. Several Rotarians did donate but turnout was very disappointing. Claire said the Social night on 5/29 will be at the Dueling Dog beginning at 5:30 PM.. Lindsey and Keela discussed the July 4th parade and the need for volunteers. More information will be provided as it gets closer to July. Jan announced that it is time to sign up to provide speakers for the 2025-2026 Rotary year. Brian shared that club membership is now 70+ members.
Guest Speaker
Speaker, Steve Pagano, gave a spirited, energetic, humorous, entertaining, and detailed speech about his recent purchase of the Beerman House (Formerly called the "Odd Fellows Hall").Steve has a history of successful entrepreneurial undertakings. He is planning a multiphase concept with rental opportunities, dance and music classes, concert capabilities, possible restaurants, and many other business opportunities. Steve's goal is NOT to compete with other local businesses but to offer options not currently available in downtown Lincoln, in an effort to promote Lincoln.
The Four-Way Test
           The Four-Way Test
Of the things we think, say or do:
   1. Is it the truth?
   2. Is it fair to all concerned?
   3. Will it build goodwill and
         better friendships?
   4. Will it be beneficial
        to all concerned?

   5. HAVE FUN !!
