Reminder of the Survey
President Kerry's member survey is a HUGE step forward in getting member input and organizing committees.  It was sent to members on June 24th.  Please make sure you have done the survey! It's important.
 Meeting Welcome

President Kerry opened the meeting with a Thought of the Day by Paul Harris. She welcomed to the meeting 40 members and 2 guests: Ana Lauritsen and Debra Bellis (both guests of Claire). The Flag Salute was led by Frank V.  Past-President Greg then inducted Kerry into the position of President by asking Kerry to comply with the requirements of the position, followed by a standing ovation from the members. President Kerry then inducted Keelja to the position of President Elect for 2026-2027.  Kris Wyatt then presented Kerry with the mascot for the year.

Paul Harris Recognition
Foundation Chair for 2025-2026, Art Deardorff, presented Frank Vranesic with Paul Harris +2 recognition. Frank met the requirement of Paul Harris recognition with his support of the RI Foundation with multiple donations of one thousand dollars. Donations are cumulative but can be a donation within one year.  The Rotary Foundation helps Rotary members to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty. Congratulations was expressed to Frank with a standing ovation.
Events and Committee Announcements

Kris shared that a well-known park in Susanville burned down recently and donations are welcome to help replace the historical barn. Kerry gave congratulations to the organizers and volunteers of the highly successful Independence Day Parade. Kim is coordinating the next Blood Drive.  Bryan said the membership is officially 71 and Kerry added that her goal is to reach 100 members by the end of the 100th Anniversary year.

Club Assembly July 10, 2025
President Kerry shared the motto for this year: "Unite for Good."The mascot is definitely a uniter. Kerry wants this coming year to be a bridge to the future, by being visible and energizing as a club. She discussed that she wants to lead with Structure, Initiatives and finally a Call to Action (one topic is omitted-sorry.). This will all be explained in more detail as the year progresses.

The Four-Way Test
           The Four-Way Test
Of the things we think, say or do:
   1. Is it the truth?
   2. Is it fair to all concerned?
   3. Will it build goodwill and
         better friendships?
   4. Will it be beneficial
        to all concerned?

   5. HAVE FUN !!
