President Richard called the meeting to order. Following lunch the guests were introduced and Alan gave his lyrical thought of the day.
Foundation Chair Clark awarded Dick Fowler his Paul Harris +6 pin. Joe Scheimer, District Foundation Chair, attended the meeting to recognize Dick's generous accomplishment.
Announcements
Joe Scheimershared the news that the District will be sponsoring a Global Grant for Water, Sanitation and Hygeine for Guatamala, He included the mention that World Polio Day is October 24th, finally he said that Zone 27 (which includes District 5180) was #1 in the World for Total Giving to the Foundation #1 for Polio Plus and Endowments and #4 for Annual Fund per capita ($205) in 2022-2023.
Kris announced this Saturday, August 5 is the Corn Hole Tournament and volunteers are needed. Dan reminded members to update their profiles on line. Paul expressed a need for a "social secretary" to express the club's get well wishes and other occasions.
Emma was welcomed as a new Website/Facebook team member. Edguardo is the new Chair for Vocational Services. Kim accepted the Chair for Blood Drives. Thank you all for filling these positions.
Club Assembly
Richard outlined how the Club Assembly would proceed. Each Chair was asked to give a brief summary of their program/project. Then members were able to meet with Chairmen to ask questions or sign up for the Committee that interested them.
After members were satisfied with that process (and time was running out) the meeting was adjourned at 1:30 PM.

Vicki served as the Rotary International Director from the "Big West" Zones 26 & 27 from 2021-2023. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Sparks, Nevada. Please look forward to hearing from this very special Rotarian.
