Dick Gootee introduced guest speaker, Robert Freeman. Robert is the founder of The Global Uplift Project (TGUP). TGUP helps the World’s Children Learn by building small-scale, high impact Education projects in the developing world. These include classrooms, libraries, science labs, playgrounds, and other projects that improve educational chances for some of the poorest people in the world. 100% of every dollar donated to TGUP goes to the donor’s intended project. This project started when Robert was teaching school and asked his class to each donate $1.00 to do good for those who are less fortunate. This beginning expanded over time to a non-profit organization that has provided educational help for students in Nicaragua, Uganda, Kenya, Indonesia, and Tanzania to name just a few accomplishment locations..Guest Speaker 6-11-26
