Rotary volunteers were out in force this weekend for our Adopt-a-Street Cleanup along Lincoln Boulevard, proudly wearing safety vests and smiles as they collected litter and debris to help keep our community looking its best.
This hands-on service project reflects Rotary’s commitment to beautifying our city and caring for the environment. The cleanup covered the stretch from Lowe’s down to 1st Street, with volunteers working together to make a visible difference.
At the end of the project, Rotary earned two official Adopt-a-Street signs recognizing our club’s ongoing stewardship of this section of Lincoln Boulevard.
Thank you to all the volunteers who came out to serve and show that community pride begins right here at home!
Rotary in Wonderland: A Magical Halloween in Beermann Plaza
The Rotary Club of Lincoln joined the community for Downtown Lincoln’s Trick-or-Treat event on Halloween, transforming our booth into a whimsical Alice in Wonderland adventure! Families stopped by to play games, meet our “Rotary in Wonderland” characters, and of course — collect plenty of treats.
We loved seeing so many smiling faces and creative costumes, and we’re grateful to the Downtown Lincoln Association for hosting this fun, family-friendly tradition. Thank you to our volunteers who made the magic happen and to all the families who stopped by to share in the Halloween spirit. Community connections like these remind us why Rotary truly makes a difference — one smile at a time!
